Questions about pricing and billing
Am I charged for a page or file that fails?
No. A credit is used only when a page is processed successfully. A page or file that fails, a corrupted file for instance, is marked as failed in your dashboard and uses no credit. A page that is processed uses its credit even if you then correct a value on it, such as one flagged as Review Needed.
Do purchased credits expire?
Purchased credits are valid for 18 months from the date of purchase. The 50 free pages reset at the start of each calendar month and do not roll over.
Do I keep my 50 free pages a month after buying credits?
Yes. You get 50 free pages every month whether or not you have bought credits, and they are always used before your purchased credits.
Do the prices include sales tax or VAT?
No. Prices are shown before tax. Our payment provider, Paddle, adds the sales tax or VAT that applies to your billing location at checkout, and you see the final price before you pay.
What is your refund policy?
As a rule, credit purchases are non-refundable. The 50 free pages every month are there so you can test the service on your own documents before you buy. The exceptions and full terms are in our Refund Policy.
Can I pay by bank transfer or get a pro forma invoice?
Yes, for orders of 2,500 credits or more: we issue a pro forma invoice payable by bank transfer, for when your procurement needs an invoice before payment. Get in touch with the pack you need, your company’s name and billing address, its VAT or tax number, and the email the invoice should go to. The credits are added once the payment arrives. An international bank transfer usually takes 1–2 business days.
Is the service available in my country?
The service is available worldwide. Paid credits are sold through our payment provider, Paddle, which cannot take payment from some countries because of international sanctions and payment restrictions.
